About pwner.id

pwner.id is the home of the HackTheBox Indonesia community: a group of pentesters, students, CTF players, and curious people who like taking things apart and writing down how they did it.

What we do

We meet up in person and online, play CTFs as a team, and publish writeups for retired boxes and challenges. We're not tied to one lane. If it's cybersecurity, it's fair game: web and API bugs, mobile and app internals, binary exploitation, cloud, network, reversing, crypto, red team, blue team, whatever someone is nerding out on that week.

How to join

1. Join the Discord. That's where everything happens: event announcements, team-ups for CTFs, and the help channel.
2. Come to a meetup. Events are listed on the events page and synced from our Meetup group. Bring a laptop; a rooted phone helps for the mobile nights.
3. Write something. Once you've solved a box or a challenge, send a writeup. We'll help edit it and publish it under your name on the blog.

House rules

Only hack what you're allowed to hack. Locked writeups stay locked until the box retires. Be kind to beginners; everyone's first shell was ugly. Meetups follow a simple code of conduct: if someone asks you to stop, stop.
